PROBLEM

The key challenges that we've found during our journey mapping phase include communicating the couple's vision to vendors and forward destination weddings, this could be difficult without in-person meetings.
OUR SOLUTION

To address these challenges, we propose leveraging AI to generate personalized styles and vendor recommendations. Additionally, we aim to create an in-app chat feature and incorporate AR and VR technology to help couples better visualize their ideas.
GET TO THE DESIGN SYSTEM

After creating quick sketches and a screen catalog, we identify repeated components and transform them into reusable ones.
This process starts with foundational elements such as colors, typography, spacing, and radius, and extends to components like cards, carousels, and more.

DESIGN SYSTEM: FOUNDATION

Our design system begins with a strong foundation, built around a tone of voice that conveys calmness and trust.
This approach allows wedding vendors to share their brand identities, without interference from our system.

DESIGN SYSTEM: COMPONENTS
The component libraries outline the various states and variants of our components, such as filled and outline buttons. They also include guidelines on how the components function and the ideal ways to set them up.
We also worked on a component sitemap designed to help our team quickly identify which components are used on each screen.

DESIGN SYSTEM: PAGE LAYOUT
We have a library of page layouts that includes guidelines on sizing, how the pages function, and the focus order for elements.
WHAT'S NEXT?

Minimum Viable Product
In our future, we plan to build MVP 1 and MVP 2 components listed in the slides.
MVP 1 is focused on the Amara Pro app development and it is for vendors who upload their services and information about their business. MVP 2 is focused on the Amara app development and it is for customers who generate the wedding plan.
The MVP components were prioritized based on user needs and feasibility (to ensure we deliver the most valuable features in phases.)
While the engineering teams focus on building components for MVP 1 and 2, our design teams will collaborate with other engineering teams and developers to explore VR/AR capabilities for MVP 3. We plan to enable customers to explore venues using a VR headset.
